Veteran actor, and voice of some of your favourite commericals and TV, Morgan Freeman has signed on to join the Joseph Kosinski directed Oblivion. Based on the Radical Publishing comic book series also created by Kosinski, Freeman will star along side Tom Cruise, Andrea Riseborough and Olga Kurylenko in the Universal Pictures feature.
Based on the comic series and scripted by William Monahan and Karl Gajdusek, the film is currently undergoing rewrites thanks to Little Miss Sunshine screenplay writer Michael Arndt. For those of us that have never read Oblivion, the film is as follows:
